Recently, rumour has it that Kiwifarms owner Joshua Conner Moon (Null) has been getting hot and bothered about his interactions with one of his despicable website’s victims, infamous female hacktivist Echo (known as Elaine to her friends). Echo was banned from the Kiwifarms, then permitted to rejoin under an alt, then banned again. There has been a bizarre amount of fake / revenge porn about a relatively well-adjusted and innocuous young woman. The awful truth is that there is evidence that provides strong grounds for suspicion that she really is being cyberstalked by the depraved incel Moon – just as he once infamously hounded his unrequited love, Stocking (Clara Lovett) of the Blocklands forum.

For readers who are unfamiliar, Kiwi Farms is an extremist hate group that exists by its own admission to stalk the disabled. It is owned by self-confessed and depraved paedophile Joshua Conner Moon. Members have committed mass murder, such as William Atchison, and owner Joshua Moon assisted the perpetrator of the murders of over 51 Muslims in Christchurch New Zealand by distributing their manifesto (archive).

Over the years I have campaigned against Joshua Moon I have from time to time worked with his other opponents. Recently, the Kiwis and some of their splinter sites have got all hot and bothered about a hacktivist known as Echo. There has been a lot of alleged nudes of her posted on various sites, as well as alleged self-harm by cutting her thighs. I can confirm these are all fake.

Echo got in touch with me, and my interest was piqued. Echo lives near me so I took her out for dinner. I met with Echo multiple times. There were no marks or scars on her thighs and she was not wearing foundation or other obscuring cosmetics. The lighting was bright. Her body in real life does not match any of the nude photographs or videos. When we met, she behaved in a socially appropriate way and did not demonstrate any vulnerability. She made good eye contact and maintained a conversation. I wrote my LL.M dissertation on mental capacity and she did not demonstrate any obvious signs of illness or disability.

So why are the Kiwis writing such a disturbing amount of obfuscatory fanfic? Why post so many fake pictures and videos? Why are they so (to use their terms) ‘butthurt’? The answer seems to lie in the vast amount of disturbing correspondence between Echo and a person claiming to be Joshua Moon. Despite his posted denials, there are grounds to suspect Moon is in fact the person in contact with her.

Moon is of course known for a number of unwise posts and strange, unsuccessful interactions with women. He has posted about his sexual frustration, and about his fantasies about murdering his own mother with a steak knife. In other posts, he confessed to begging his mother, Candice Potter, and his therapist, to sleep with him (i.e have sex with him). Moon is also known for his obsession with a Blockland user called Stocking. Moon has also posted about his resentment of being circumcised and his difficulties in obtaining satisfaction from intercourse and reaching orgasm during penetrative sex. He is, in short, a template incel.

The account(s) in contact with Echo claim to be Moon. It is often hard to prove who operates a given account, and of course there are always trolls impersonating people in the sphere Moon operates in. However, the written style of those messages and the vocabulary bears some correlation to Moon’s posts and vocabulary on his verified accounts on Kiwi Farms. The obsessive protestations of love and socking, as well as the other elements bear a resemblance to behaviours noted by his past associates like Frederick Brennan (Hotwheels).

Furthermore, it appears that Echo has been effective in making the lives of some people involved in Kiwifarms and splinter sites miserable. One owner of a splinter site attempted to impress her by using Telegram to prove his address and physical location in Australia shortly before being goaded into a post in which he threatened to murder President Biden. That had the site shut down by the FBI and Australian authorities.

Whilst your author is not convinced by all the alleged doxes, users of another splinter / rival site complain of their Discord server shut down and some accounts banned. Members of my own group that targets these sites had quietly joined some of these channels and noted numerous paranoid posts fearing that new users were Echo alts.

In short, it appears this is a relatively well adjusted young woman who has none of the traits that normally cause people to be targeted by sites like Kiwi Farms. She has efficiently made their lives difficult, albeit with a significant element of exaggeration and braggadoccio. Kiwi Farms and their ilk are hardly in a position to complain of that, their site being known for same, and flat out lies and fabrications. The threads about her appear to be fanfiction disconnected from reality. A number of these appear to be associated with blackmail / extortion demands for sexual favours which are being investigated by police, in relation to Kiwi Farms and also another site of a similar nature that targets young women.

Simply put – there is no reason for the activity. Why would this woman be of interest? I would suggest Occam’s Razor offers the simplest solution. There are strong grounds to suspect that at least some of the accounts claiming to be Josh are Josh. It is alleged he has taken part in voice chats and the voice has matched that on his podcasts. Even if they are not Josh, he is the owner of a website that encourages the exploitation of the disabled, as well as hosting revenge pornography / nudes of young women. Stalking of Echo is enthusiastically discussed on his website, with Moon’s knowledge, and on its splinters. Moon is certainly morally responsible and likely legally responsible.

I originally drafted this article at Echo’s request but paused publication, also, again at her request. This is now an agreed version. Contrary to Kiwi hopes, I have not fallen out with Echo despite some minor leaks and I am not angry, because it is ultimately her article. Nothing leaked was very sensitive, and Echo does not have any greatly sensitive information.
