Social services in West Berkshire have confirmed they will be making enquiries into the welfare of Charisse Burchett’s children (now dubbed, “Bleach Mummy” by MHN). The move comes after an exclusive MHN investigation revealed that Burchett advocates feeding Chlorine Dioxide, an industrial bleach, to children and expressly stated she would use it on her own children. Furthermore, she states that she never takes the children to the doctor’s surgery as their medicines, in her view, fail at treating issues. She prefers her tried and trusted tool – bleach!
There is a nasty subculture of medical conspiracy theory that preys on those with incurable illnesses and their loved ones. One such is the, “Miracle Mineral Supplement” (MMS) scam. The UK Food Standards agency Food Crime Unit prioritises stopping the sale of this here in the UK because it is actually an industrial bleach (archive). The United States Food and Drug Administration issued a press release “FDA warns consumers about the dangerous and potentially life threatening side effects of Miracle Mineral Solution”, (archive).
Charisse Burchett however, advocates its use for children, especially autistic children, and says she would use it on her own children if appropriate. She responds aggressively to horrified Twitter users disagreeing and insists, contra the UK FSA and US FDA, that it is not bleach [1] (archive) –
Of course, when Bleach Mummy says that she would give her own children MMS / bleach if they had (for example) infections, that would be her amateur diagnosis as she does not take her children to the doctor’s surgery [3] (archive) –
The allegations in this article were put to Charisse Burchett via an email identified on her Twitter account and no response was received. The allegations were not denied.
The matter came to light after MHN did an investigation into Charisse Burchett’s sinister and extreme posts to former MP John Hemming raising debunked allegations against him made by Esther Baker, as set out in my last article. It turns out that she is the one who may have questions to answer to the authorities about child abuse.
Charisse has been inconsistent on Twitter, at times saying she would give her children MMS, at others, when pressed, denying it. She remains consistent in recommending it for children generally, especially autistic children.
Charisse seems to be a person who has been activated by a number of websites that host conspiracy theories. After Charisse attempted to confront Hemming on Twitter he received emails from others she had mistreated online. Readers who are distressed by these matters or who have information about Charisse or concerns about her children are asked not to send abusive messages but polite ones to social services triage@wokingham.gov.uk. MHN would not usually share a private email address, but as Charisse has made her email public on Twitter (archive) feel free to send polite messages asking her not to use or promote MMS to gcaravan50@gmail.com. Please copy in this blog so we can monitor the child safety concerns, via –
Hopefully, Charisse will now apologise publicly for her advocacy for MMS on Twitter and also apologise to John Hemming before further action is required. Of course, your humble editor now has the mobile number of the helpful Director at local social services should he have further concerns.

Thought you might like to know she has popped back up on Facebook advocating MMS again. She may be wising up with her choice of words and says she has ‘supported the product for years’. And then a link to a fund raiser for the lunatics that make this in the US. Not sure if that crosses the line in Facebook’s view but it has been reported 2 days ago, still up as I write.
Thanks.
