A Good Day to Praise the Lord

Jesus Christ saves. I mean that deadly seriously and respectfully. I like this image because it represents salvation even in the darkness.

Jesus Christ saves. I mean that deadly seriously and respectfully. I like this image because it represents salvation even in the darkness.

I cannot say why just yet, but it has been a very, very good day. As a Christian I feel blessed and forgiven and I choose to praise Jesus Christ, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Salvation comes in many forms, both eternal and earthly. On a day on which both seem closer, it is a good day to praise Him. We have a beautiful local church in the form of St Francis of Assisi, but I like this neon picture, reminding people that Jesus saves even those in grimy, dark circumstances.

  1. Well, what a sight for sore eyes this post is, so it is! We cannot give enough praise to God, so we can’t. I like to think I’m a sunbeam for Jesus every day, but I probably fall short now and then in His eyes.

But no matter what, I know He always knows what’s going on in our hearts, and we know He will keep giving us oil for our lamps to keep us burning. For which I’m truly grateful, to be honest. Especially during those times when we have to deal with utter b*stards and snides who keep trying to nick our oil or snuff our lamps out.

From all I’ve seen of you and your blogs, and all the work you do for the meek, I can say that you’re certainly one of the brightest sunbeams for Jesus I’ve ever come across. And long may you continue to shine. Amen.

    🙏📿

Tell me about it! 😃 Those types can be such a f*cking nuisance.

Saint Francis of Assisi said: “A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows.”

Which is why I say, the more sunbeams, the better. A shower of light versus a shower of sh*te – No contest.

    Amen.

  3. St Paddy’s is a special day for me but don’t want to dox myself. I’m convalescing from a broken femur. I have improved but the bad leg is going to be permanently shorter than the sound one. An online acquaintance sent me a link for a 95 year old lady who had a birthday yesterday going to her zumba class. Good on the 95 Yr old but I can’t zumba anymore.

  4. What a lovely original post! This has filled my lamp brimful. Thank you very much, MHN. It has brought me to song all afternoon. Bless you.

I cannot, for the life of me, think what reminded me of this “obscure”, “little read”, “crap” blog, when I’ve seen it said elsewhere, that it’s full of “nasty commenters”, and “run by secret agents” and “shadowy Establishment figures”, but it’s great to see it’s still as strong as ever, and packed with even more truths than I recall being on here before. Perhaps I have been drawn back here by the beacon of light emanating from the original post full of sweet and solemn words. Which somehow spread across the ether to myself.

When I find a few moments. I simply must retrieve some more truths from the overwhelming piles of truths which people have sent to me over the years to share with some of the people on here.

Until then, I shall read all the articles I haven’t seen before, and perhaps fill in some blanks. Obviously, I wouldn’t share anything here which would be detrimental in the countless court cases which appear to have been dragging on in my absence, but I’m sure there may be a few odd tidbits which I could share 😆

Hi to commenter GwenT 😃 Seeing you on here has reminded me there are dozens of false reports to the police still to be followed up. Not to mention all those shocking incidences where Government protected data bases were illegally accessed. With such lazy, bent police being involved, it’s a jolly good job some crimes are so serious that there aren’t any prosecution time limits on them.

Once again, GwenT, many thanks for all the time-stamped blogs you shared which were hidden from police by being made ‘Unavailable for public view’. People are still reeling at those terribly shocking graphics of people being shot and burned alive etc 🤮

Albeit, even the darkest cloud has a silver lining, and the calls across social media from miscreant to miscreant for emergency assistance with authorities when trying to have people sacked from work, and arrest and imprisoned, were an absolute hoot.

Never in the history of social media were so many name changes and extra underscores and numbers done in haste 🤣😂 The sheer joy of watching certain individuals denying who they were, to individuals who knew damn well who they were, but who didn’t know where they lived, in order to ensure they would keep the promises they had made to speak to police in person, or go all the way to court.

We really must dig it all out, and remind the police to crack on with all these tatty ends at some point. There being so many criminal elements to all of it, it is easy see why police are still dragging their feet 😆

@ Sue. Warms the cockles of your heart reading MHN’s posts at times, so it does. Especially if you’re one of the meek.

I’ve just bookmarked MHN’s post, so I have. For those days when I’m so shocked cold by the stuff that comes out during his court cases, I can return to it at the click of a button for instant comfort.

I won’t go into detail right now, because people may be having dinner, but there was a post on here a while ago which made myself and Ilie Myassovalot have to go for a very long lie down. It involved an extremely bent cop, and the scrapping of a device which prevents pregnancy in people with about as much chance of ever getting pregnant – as Rory Port or the Pope.

  6. I don’t know if it was Divine intervention yesterday, but all the grown-up protesters at the Lucy Letby Inquiry seemed to have cleared off before band-wagon jumper Sonia Poulton arrived to screech across the flags outside Liverpool town hall.

She did the tragic Lucy Letby no favours at all, so she didn’t! And she got all shirty and nasty on X afterwards. Telling a perfectly reasonable X user that they “have issues that are too big to resolve on social media. Go well.” 😱

I swear to God, that whenever anyone says anything to Sonia Poulton on social media that she doesn’t like, or isn’t full of red hearts and kisses, she either resorts to accusing them of having mental health problems, or demands that their ‘hard-drives be looked into’. Wtf?

For someone who protests to be an all-seeing eye on the treachery and wrong doings of the nhs, she has long been a fly in the ointment in Lucy Letby’s case. And genuine people who want to expose the flaws in the nhs and the case, should give her short shrift, and avoid being in the same space as her with regard to this matter.

This is an extremely serious case which should be left only up to medical experts and people in hospital management!

Unqualified, uninsured, insensitive, no mark, pretendy journalists should stay the feck out of this one!

Neither the families of the deceased babies, nor Lucy Letby’s family and colleagues, should be subjected to coming across any of the rantings and rambling tripe of a band of raggle-taggle misfits on social media.

Thank you, I appreciate that, Nigel. Yes, we had some great speakers join us. It worked out well and I’m grateful for that. I went into the Thirlwall Inquiry after it ended, will tell more on the show tomorrow.

You were there for no longer than half an hour Sonia – how you can report & tell more on the Thirlwall enquiry is beyond me

Are you one of the women I talked to? I can talk about any experience I have, no matter how long or short. Imagine thinking you have control over how someone else functions. You sound as if you have issues that are too big to resolve on social media. Go well.

You have been very vocal, yet appear to have such a lack of interest, only managing to stay half an hour. Perhaps you could explain.

  7. Where I come from, if we saw a post like this one below, we would say something in reply (which loosely translated) would be something like, ‘You have totally summed her up’. Or ‘I could not have said it better myself!’ Or ‘Spot on!’. Or ‘You know her so well!’

And then we would become a follower of the poster. Because of their honesty and bravery for saying this in public, and not just saying this about her in a private chat group 😃

“If you can’t beat them, arrange to have them beaten…”
