Poll – Would YOU Expect to Get Shot?

Graphics

The leftist cult of victimhood has plumbed new depths when a violent racist thug is fêted by race baiting champagne socialist demagogues. His crime? Assaulting numerous persons of a different, well, hue. If the Witchfinder grabbed a police officer’s gun and tried to point it at them, he would expect to get shot too.

A hulking 6’5″ man grabs an expensive box of cigars from a small store and walks out. A small store clerk, of Indian descent, tries to stop him, looking like a child in comparison on the CCTV. The thug shoves the clerk out of the way and when the clerk bravely remonstrates turns on him menacingly. The perpetrator is stopped by police and tries to grab the police officer’s gun to point it at him. He flees and is later shot when charging a police officer.

Democrats in the United States, and ‘Labour’, in the United Kingdom tell us that the police officer was racist. On the other hand a Grand Jury made up of 12 people, 33% of African American descent, along with 60 witnesses of varying races, found no case to answer. The leftists respond that the there were ‘procedural irregularities’, which amount in fact to the Jury proceedings being made more transparent to avoid allegations of unfairness.

I am a white English guy. If, here in the United Kingdom, I punched out a shop cashier and then assaulted one of our armed police officers whilst trying to force their gun to face them, I would expect to get shot. The Witchfinder has a question to readers. If you acted like Michael Brown, what would YOU expect to happen?

You assaulted a shop cashier and rob their shop. You assault a police officer, grab their gun and force it round to face them. The police catch you and when asked to freeze, you charge. What now?

Despicable Andrew Burnham MP Must Never Hold Public Office Again

Andy Burnham MP

Andrew Burnham MP must be sacked and disgraced. (Picture via Open Government License 1.0)

The Witchfinder responds to Labour MP Andrew Burnham’s literally unbelievable comments on the Mid-Staffordshire Inquiry, that demonstrate that Labour still does not understand the paramount need for transparency, accountability and whistleblowing in the NHS.

Think back to your schooldays. Imagine your class. Say, what, 30 people? Picture them all dead. Needlessly. Now imagine school assembly. Say, 300 people? Picture them dead. Now twice that. Dead. Double again. Dead. All dead. 1,200 tragic, unnecessary, corpses.

That was the reality of the Mid-Staffordshire Inquiry. Under Labour’s culture of fear and cover-up, ‘trust’ (some might say voter perception) was more important than truth. As many as 1,200 people died needlessly under NHS ‘care’.

Why is @LibertyLynx so Awesome? #InspiringJournalists

Liberty Lynx

The beautiful and mysterious ‘R’ – @LibertyLynx!

The Witchfinder has always celebrated strong Conservative and Right of Centre women who have stood up to hateful leftist harassment. This week, security journalist and commentator – the mysterious ‘R’ – better known as … @LibertyLynx!

Anonymous speech is a long an honourable tradition. The American Supreme Court has recognised it as so important that it is covered by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

To quote Justice Hugo Black… Anonymous pamphlets, leaflets, brochures and even books have played an important role in the progress of mankind.”

Sadly many users of anonymous speech are abusers of the privilege engaging in childish trolling.

@LibertyLynx on the other hand is the reason we have pseudonyms. At nearly a 135,000 tweets she has had a lot to say since she joined Twitter in 2008. In fact, that is roughly 61 insightful and clever tweets a day for 6 years.

The Twisted Face of Hate Behind Labour’s Mask – #WeBackMyleene

'How to Speak in Public' Cover

‘How to speak in public’, a training manual published by the Labour Party. From the Witchfinder’s collection.

What do former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and successful TV Presenter Myleene Klass have in common? Both are successful, intelligent women of non-Anglo-Saxon heritage who have been the target of racist, sexist and classist hatred by left wingers. The Witchfinder exposes the poisonous, toxic hate that oozes out whenever the skin of the left is scratched.

Look right. The picture is the cover of a book the Witchfinder received early in his training as a Labour Party spin-doctor. It is an official Labour Party training manual on public speaking.

The cover is a revealing portrait of Labour’s self-image. Chosen, designed and approved by Labour staff for Labour members it shows a shrivelled scowling hate-face behind a healthy smiling mask. The book is about how to speak in public and contains various rhetorical tricks for manipulating the public. To a disinterested observer, the picture could be seen to say this – “We are false, we are wrong … and we know it.”

Disgraced Ex-Labour Councillor Dean Archer in Humiliating Apology to Grant Shapps MP

Grant Shapps MP

Grant Shapps MP

The Witchfinder covers the recent humbling of another accuracy-challenged member of Welwyn Hatfield’s appallingly useless local Labour Party, who has been forced into an apology to his hard-working local MP Grant Shapps. Matthew Hopkins argues that Welwyn Hatfield deserves better than Labour’s Z-list.

iPhones are a glory of the modern age. They allow us to stay online whilst we are on the go – to listen to music, read emails and to work as we sit on the train to work. They also have the inconvenient habit of auto-correcting words in unintended ways, so much so that there are whole websites devoted to the topic. An innocent word like ‘sinus’ for example, might become ‘anus’.

The Witchfinder suspects auto-correct might have been at work in Political Scrapbook’s recent headline – “Grant Shapps threatened constituent [sic][…]” where the letters “onstit” and “e” are clearly superfluous.

Mostyn is Dead Right

The Witchfinder considers the arguments in the case of re D, in which Mostyn J and the Court of Appeal have a significant disagreement.

Two Irate Looking Judges

The High Court and the Court of Appeal have had a bit of a falling out over Re: D.

Re D concerned an 18-month-old child of Czech / Roma heritage, whose parents live in the Czech Republic. The question was whether  the case of this Czech family should be dealt with in the UK or whether a request should be made to the Courts in the Czech Republic to take over the matter.

The case was managed by Mr Justice Mostyn, who gave a judgement in the High Court that the Czech Courts should indeed be invited to decide the matter. His judgement was later overturned by the Court of Appeal and then remitted back to Mostyn J to dispose of the remainder of the case. Mostyn J then gave a further judgement that the child could be placed with foster carers in the Czech Republic whilst taking a few swipes at the judgement of the Court above. The case is important because of its subject and interesting because of the strident judicial disagreements.

Your inquisitor finds writing about this case to be difficult, because he has the greatest respect for Lord Justice Ryder who delivered the judgement of the Court of Appeal as well as Munby LJ, who agreed with Ryder. Both are good and decent men – Ryder LJ is in fact the very first judge the Witchfinder ever appeared before back when he was a High Court judge. It is just that in this instance Mostyn is right.

California Rape Law Will Let Perpetrators Off the Hook

Judge's Hammer Coming Down on Gavel

Britain Does It Better! The new California consent bill is a poor copy of harsher but fairer British laws.

A new Californian Law to reduce campus rape by requiring affirmative consent has caused controversy recently.

The Witchfinder points out that the United Kingdom already has a similar but much tougher and better drafted law that has operated to 11 years without any unjust effect and suggests the Californians might want to look at UK law for best practice.

However the supposedly tough and politically correct Californian legislation in fact conceals a sinister leftist agenda that will let rapists off hook entirely.

Share The Pledge Card – 1400 Reasons Never to Vote Labour

The Witchfinder relates the tragic events in Rotherham to those ultimately responsible. A Labour council, a Labour police commissioner, Labour Social Workers, a Labour Government and lastly, Labour supporting paedophile rapists.

In 1997, as the ordeal of thousands of innocent young women and girls in Rotherham was just beginning, the Witchfinder was handing out New Labour pledge cards. “Keep this card and see that we keep our promises” said the slogan, on the back of a smiling picture of Tony Blair.

Had the trusting public known then that we know now, Labour canvassers would have been torn apart in the streets. Below, your inquisitor has produced a revised version of that pledge card with five promises that would have actually been true had it been published at the time.

New Labour Pledge

The New Labour pledge card of 1997 re-written to make its promises true.

Peter Tatchell – Sex Brought ‘Great Joy’. To 9 Year Olds

Matthew Hopkins reveals Peter Tatchell’s association with PIE members, his written assertions that paedophile abuse brought 9-year olds ‘great joy’ and exposes other misguided advocates of reducing the age of consent.

Peter Tatchell

Peter Tatchell

The activities of PIE and their plan to legalise paedophilia are now well known. However less well known are the many misguided left wingers who, whilst never members of PIE, support their goals of reducing the age of consent in whole or in part.

Peter Tatchell is a supposedly respectable, establishment figure. A man at the heart of the campaign to lower the gay age of consent from 18 to 16 he was a Labour Parliamentary candidate and official, currently has his own section of the Guardian website, and describes himself on his website as the Green Party spokesman on Human Rights.

The reality is that Tatchell contributed a chapter to a book compiled by members of the sinister Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE) – a book with the sole and stated goal of abolishing the age of consent entirely, making children, toddlers and babes in arms fair game for paedophiles of all ages. Even today Tatchell advocates reducing the age of consent, albeit now just to 14.

A River of Tears

The Witchfinder summarises the evidence from the recent House of Lords Committee on the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and points the finger at the Labour politicians responsible for this travesty.

Bleeding Rose

The Witchfinder, under another name, was one of many individuals, professionals and organisations that gave evidence to the ongoing investigation. The evidence has now been published and your humble inquisitor has decided to summarise.

Anyone wishing to read it for themselves can find volumes 1 and 2 on the parliament website –

Volume 1
Volume 2

What is striking is just how loud the chorus of complaints are. Chris Booker of the Telegraph, for example, would be delighted to discover just how many social workers are in total agreement with him about the Act’s inadequacies.

The problem with dry text is the inability to fully convey the human suffering represented by the endless storm of criticism. I quote (for example) Kate Beynon, a social worker in Northamptonshire, “I was involved in a recent CoP case and am very worried that one of the parties was not able to access legal aid, she was in debt and could not afford repayments and yet we were removing her adult son from her care.”

Beynon is quite right – a lot of the Witchfinder’s charity work exists solely because there is negligible legal aid available to families when social services take away adult relatives.

She goes on to mirror the Witchfinder’s suggestion that there be local Mental Capacity tribunals instead of the current Court of Protection, “Why can we not have local Tribunals similar to Mental Health Tribunals?”
