Racism on our streets is a repugnant sight but this author has campaigned against the extremists for 20 years without the need for violence. Vigilante violence is never acceptable, leading to harm against bystanders, victims of mistaken identity and the vulnerable. That is why it is so serious when extremists like Abaddon Books’ Commissioning Editor David Thomas Moore (who is attending FantasyCon 2017 this year) normalise or advocate violence. HWS Events, which is organising the event, has made a statement about this after receiving legal correspondence from MHN, reminding attendees of its harassment policy and right to exclude anyone who threatens violence.
“IS IT OK TO PUNCH THE SITH?” asks this image on David Moore’s timeline. Comments by his followers make it clear they take it to mean Nazis. And by Nazis, they mean Trump supporters. Click for full size.
“Is it okay to punch Nazis?”, asks the far Left. The question is seductive, bringing to mind the first recent Captain America film or perhaps Indiana Jones, exciting stories of a world at war in a simpler time. Abaddon Books’ Commissioning editor David Moore poses the question on his Facebook timeline in a somewhat loaded form, “Is it okay to punch the Sith?” In a wartime drama or a science fiction fantasy world the answers might seem simple – but the real world is no longer at war and the questions are no longer simple at all. Looking at the replies to the question, what David’s followers understand is “Is it okay to punch people whom I disagree with?” And the troubling answer they give is, “yes”. A specific example given is Donald Trump’s presidency.
A dictionary definition of extremist is here – “A person who holds extreme political or religious views, especially one who advocates illegal, violent, or other extreme action.” (archive).
This. Trump nails it. In a past article I said that the Klan and Neo-Nazis were vile and to be condemned … but the Klan and the Nazis are a tiny minority of weirdos. They would have had their little protest and left. The alt-left however are a violent group who arrived looking for a fight. Through out our society the left seek to silence other voices and excuse themselves from civility on the basis that the other side are “evil”. Since we are talking about Nazis anyway, was that not their argument for the genocides they committed?
Trump is absolutely right to condemn the Nazis but right to condemn the thugs who riled the situation up. Anyone involved in political violence must be charged, convicted and punished.
Trump also raises valid questions about a revisionist approach to history.
Readers can tell recent allegations that Milo Yiannopoulos defended paedophilia are false for a simple reason – leftists are not lining up to laud him. Matthew Hopkins News puts Milo in his proper context.
Milo Yiannopoulos is a thoughtful and kindly man, not a defender of paedophiles, which is why hard left wingers hate him. Milo pictured with Matthew Hopkins News editor Sam Smith.
For years, the left has attacked Conservatives with intimidation, innuendo and smears. At the same time, a variety of left-wingers in a variety of guises have sought to defend, mitigate and humanise the vilest of sex offenders. Noted activist Peter Tatchell in the UK contributed to the book ‘Betrayal of Youth’ in which he wrote, “What purpose does it [the age of majority] serve other than reinforcing a set of increasingly quaint, minority moral values left over from the Victorian era?” Some on the left literally want to abolish the age of consent entirely.
After extreme left-wingers created a petition to oppose Donald Trump entering the United Kingdom, supporters of free speech and democracy created a counter petition for Parliament to invite him (sign or view here). Within hours the petition exceeded 100,000 signatures meaning it will be debated in Parliament on 20/02/2017. Despite being created roughly two months later and only being open to UK residents and citizens, the pro-Trump petition is growing far faster and gaining rapidly on the anti-free speech lobby.

“[…] you’re going to be so sick and tired of winning,” promised Trump not so long ago. True to his word, once again left-wingers are being humiliated. Roughly two months ago, a petition was created asking Parliament to ban Donald Trump from the UK. That has gained 1.7 million votes. Roughly two days ago a countering petition was created asking Parliament to invite Trump to the UK.
Last year, leftists raised a petition to stop Donald Trump entering the United Kingdom and were politely told by the Conservative British Government to f*** r**** o** (archive here), “For good reasons the Government does not routinely comment on individual immigration and exclusion decisions”. At the time, MHN raised a counter petition. This year, enraged by Donald Trump’s immediate and unambiguous attempts to keep his campaign promises, they are trying again. I discovered this when people started trying to sign last year’s petition. A new one is now live (link).
Left wing extremists do not speak for the whole of Great Britain. Do not let them – instead ask Parliament to send a message of free speech and welcome to President Trump.
How dare the anti-Trump extreme left presume to speak for the whole of great Britain? They are the authors of failed and discredited polices that have broken our relationship with Europe and threaten to drive the whole EU to collapse. Not in my name. International relations, and trade, are far more important than grandstanding. I would have said the same (albeit slightly less enthusiastically) if it was Hillary.

One of the great forces behind the Conservative revival and the crumbling of the failing institutions of the left has been books of political philosophy. Authors such as Ann Coulter became best sellers by challenging the comfortable leftist status-quo.
But Coulter, for all her charms, was by no means the only one. One of my personal favourite writers is Economist Thomas Sowell. An African-American he clawed his way up from poverty and out of the stifling embrace of leftism to become a pre-eminent Economist. He is Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
Before I became a Conservative, before I studied computing or law, my undergraduate degree was in Economics and Sowell is a master. His logical, thoughtful and reality-rooted analysis has made him a bulwark of right-wing thought and of course a hate figure to the left. “The Vision of the Annointed”, is an important book and deserves a place on every right-wing bookshelf.
This is yuge. UK Business insider has just revealed (archive here) that due to a software error Twitter has been accidentally reporting higher advertising metrics for some video adverts by up to 35%. This led to customers being overbilled, although they have now received refunds. At roughly the same time, the Chief Technology Officer of Twitter Adam Messinger and Vice President of Product Josh McFarland have also announced their departures from the troubled social media network (archive here).
Twitter ad figures in some cases were inflated by up to 35%. This bird is beginning to look a bit, well, deceased. Image used under the Copyright parody exception.
The electoral college results today dramatically confirmed Donald Trump as President-Elect of the United States of America, now on course for inauguration on 20th January 2017. Meanwhile in the ultimate humiliation, whilst leftists had sought to make the electoral collage undo the will of the people and the election results, it was Hillary Rodham Clinton who had 7 times as many faithless voters as Trump.
In the ultimate humiliation, in the electoral college vote today Hillary Clinton suffered 7 times as many defections by faithless electors as Donald Trump. Leftists are now campaigning to stop the, ‘fascist regime’ ‘before it starts’. MHN says it WAS stopped. Click for full size.
Despite the ongoing humiliation and rejection, leftist hysteria over the election result has grown and some are now effectively advocating massive civil unrest across the United States in an effort, by their own admission, to overturn the results of a lawful election.
The idea that one of the vipers in the toxic, writhing nest otherwise known as the Democratic Party is behind the leak is vastly more plausible than the idea of some surreal international conspiracy or (see below) the line some leftists are peddling about a plot by space aliens.
Even so, it would be perfectly understandable if Russia and its President Vladimir Putin had decided to put the case for Donald Trump? Why not? During her election campaign Hillary Rodham Clinton planned to establish, ‘no fly zones’ (archive here) in Syria. This led to warnings from retired US military pilots that the reckless policy could provoke a war with Russia.
Worse, the conflict in Syria repeats the same mistakes that have coloured all of western interventions in the Middle East for the past several decades. The Middle East contains many countries and many factions. Almost none of them favours democracy, an idea that the west continues to try to impose despite total, catastrophic, ruinous failure on each attempt.
The most recent disaster is the creation of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the aftermath of the removal of Saddam Hussein. Is there a democracy in Iraq? No – there is a medieval theocracy beheading and burning that according to Bloomberg news sells children aged 1-9 as sex slaves for $165 each (archive here).
A professional looking profile, @RealPresidentTrump, has appeared on free speech social network Gab.ai (archive here). However whilst its posts so far have been eloquent and appropriate there is no blue verified check.
A profile for Donald Trump has allegedly appeard on Gab, but is it real? Click for full size.
It seems inconceivable that Andrew Torba would delay more than a micro-second between a call from the Trump team and verifying an account for the real President-elect. Even MHN has a verified checkmark. There has also been no announcement from any other source.
